Fan Blasts Sister Derby For Wishing G@ys Happy International Women’s Day

A while back, the Ghanaian songwriter, Deborah Owusu-Bonsu, well regarded as Sister Derby, proclaimed her position on the LGBTQI saga. She flung her weights at the community.

Her advocacy for the legalization of Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Transgenders, Queers, and Inter-Sex groups made her suffer from the Netizens’ bullies as they descended on her social media.

Today, 8 March 2021 is International Women’s Day, and Sister Derby has decided to wish her LGBTQI community, particularly the gay community, well.

This is what she wrote:

Happy International Women’s Day to ALL women: black, disabled, LGTBQI+, refugees and all other marginalised groups.#internationalwomensday2021 #GenerationEquality#ChooseToChallenge2021 #Women4Freedom #ChooseToChallenge

A follower who came across her tweet came down hard on her to label gays as women.

The fan said, “L.G. (gay).

TBQI and u also wish them a woman’s day… Since when Gay became a woman. Think ooo think about it before u post

Meanwhile, the President of Ghana, Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo Addo, said that same-sex marriage would never be legalized under his rule as President.
