Famous Gospel show host bashes Sonnie Badu for congratulating Kuami Eugene

Kwame OB Nartey of Vision 1 FM bashed Sonnie Badu after the latter called his son Kuami Eugene to congratulated him on winning the VGMA artist of the year.

Kuami Eugene’s award as an artist of the year was met with mixed responses, with some fans saying he didn’t deserve it and others believing otherwise.

However, Sonnie Badu has taken to social media to congratulate the young King on a tweet that reads, “Congratulations to my son, @kuamieeugene, remember that the secret is modesty, hard work, and prayer … a lot of love … purple.”

Meanwhile, the host of the Gospel show, OB Nartey was very critical of Sonnie Badu ‘s message of congratulations as he said that the globally renowned Gospel musician is a strong hunter who wants to be associated with everyone’s success.

He argued that the UK-based Gospel musician has been holding back in helping his true sons in the Gospel music industry to gain ground and be successful as well.

He posted on facebook, ”Good morning Sofo Badu, Go and look for your sons who are struggling in the Gospel industry and stop this unnecessary fame attachments. Noor Congratulations my son Kwame Eugene laughable. This “Don King” spirit won’t help you, the boys who served you are still waiting for you to give them the necessary push and features you promised them. The likes of Max Praise, Yohan, Tino Manford, Royal Chris, Kofi Perprah. You left the Gospel personalities who made us proud to go and claim fathership. What should Baba Sadiq call Kwame Eugene?”
